Dear Three Village neighbor,

I have undertaken the challenge of raising $1,000.00 by December 1st to help with Last Chance Animal Rescue veterinary care bills for the animals that are saved each and every week, all year long. This medical care is provided to these deserving animals once they are rescued, transported to Long Island, and are awaiting adoption. These animals are typically rescued from high-kill shelters in the south, where many animals have only 72 hours to make it out.

As many of you may know, I am a supporter and weekly volunteer for Last Chance. I also provide Pro-bono legal representation for them as well. My family also recently adopted our new puppy, Sarah, from Last Chance. I realize that not everyone is that involved with animals, we all have so much going on in our daily lives. However, it is something that my family enjoys being involved with, and I know that Last Chance is a great, grassroots, volunteer based, not-for-profit that is saving lives one dog or cat at a time. I see this first hand every weekend. I have met so many amazing, caring, selfless people while volunteering, and have seen so many animals find their forever home, that I can assure you that Last Chance is making our community a better place. If you have an interest in volunteering ( kids can get community service hours ), or becoming a foster family, you can find out more at

If each of us were able to donate just $10.00, we could make a real difference and help Last Chance in its mission of helping these animals that are depending on someone to step up and save them. This is what Last Chance does.

So, if you feel like helping a cause you can believe in and feel good about, please click the link below to donate any amount that you feel comfortable with. If you would rather send a check, you can make it payable to Last Chance Animal Rescue, and send it to my office at 144 Woodbury Road, Woodbury, NY 11797.

My rescue dog, Sarah, says "thank you"

All the best,

Mark T. Freeley, Esq.
