“Good Boy Storm” Reaches Over 20 Million Worldwide!

To all of my friends, clients and fellow animal lovers,

It was two years ago this month that my English Golden Retriever, Storm, decided that he would save a baby deer from drowning in Port Jefferson Harbor while on one of our daily walks. It seems that the video which captured his heroic and compassionate actions still brings a smile to everyone’s face. However, Storm, and the famous viral video, have brought more than smiles to the world, it has actually helped to save many more lives.

We immediately created the Facebook page GoodBoyStorm to help bring attention to other animals in need. As an Adoption Event Leader for Last Chance Animal Rescue, I saw it as an opportunity to raise awareness for other animals fighting for their lives in kill shelters. Weekly, over the last two years, we have posted photos and details about dogs and cats who are available for adoption through Last Chance. The response has been amazing. We currently have over 3,500 devoted followers who have helped us find forever homes for countless animals by sharing our posts with friends and family. They have also helped us raise thousands of dollars to ensure that Last Chance can continue its crucial work.

I would like to give my heartfelt “thank you” to all of you who have supported our cause, and I welcome all of you to visit and “like” GoodBoyStorm to become a follower to see some of the wonderful and deserving animals in need of adoption. You can also see updates on Storm and his Last Chance Animal Rescue sister, Sarah.
Please join Team Storm  and help us to continue to spread awareness for these animals who are depending upon our compassion and generosity.

Best wishes for a safe, fun, and relaxing Summer.
